When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people, who have sacrificed so much for each of us, would get.

done!will drop mine in the mail on my way out. now what about the vets that are on the streets? thinking of what we can do locally...some sort of CJ event maybe ... or maybe ajust agroup of likeminded individuals that give two damns about our soldiers.

It's funny you mention that. I went to Pawn Show on a Sunday like 2 weeks ago and found myself having a very interesting conversation with one of the homeless people who asked me for money. It turns out he was a Vietnam vet and I decided rather than spend my $$$ on liquor that night I would spend it on buying him food and hygiene products. I spent more time with him than I did with my friends that night. He was actually a very educated sounding guy.

IMO any charitable event held is well worth it as long as the funds get channeled to the proper people in need.

A radio station here in Atlanta (Q100), raised over 350,000 unique letters that were handwritten, to be able to send to all the troops that are stationed out of the country.

Much love and support for the troops, I hope their holidays will be safe. Hopefully we can get them back here to the US sometime soon.

wow thats cool man. its a crying shame that some of these guys comeback from a war and it get discarded like a bag of doritos.

Mattivi! Come on! What do you want to do? Raise our taxes to pay for a bunch of people who aren't defending our country??? So what if they did so in the past?!? This is NOW, dammit! What have they done for me lately?!?!? Shame on you! What kind of fiscal responsibility is that? Thank of the Beemers, man, think of the poor Beemers [sob]...

Thanks peace. She is still in the hospital and her heart is only 20% functioning. We have faith though. Thanks again bro for your prayers.

Why do we need to raise taxes? There's already plenty of money out there. All you gotta do is cut all the inner-city handout programs and problem solved. If you're a vet, you get welfare. If you're not, fuck you! Is that better?
