But most people don't know that the jewel of our sexuality struggled for centuries before getting the right to express itself without bringing the wrath of the Church, the medical field or the patriarchy. The wierd thing is, everything was running smoothly during ancient times, thanks to Hippocrates. He believed that the fetus came as a result of the mixture of men's and women's semen. To make sure that women's semen was plentiful, it was necessary to give her pleasure. Then Aristotle had to come along and ruin things by suggesting that only the man's semen was fertile.
