Kristi Lomax is a native New Yorker (Jamaica, Queens) who now calls Los Angeles home. She’s a driving force in the soulful sound of the Los Angeles underground, as host of the weekly music program, One Track Mind, heard on progressive radio station KPFK. Her adventurous mix of music earned her an L.A. Weekly Music Award Nomination for Best Radio Show and a feature in the electronic music magazine, XLR8R.

A champion of house music, Kristi keeps Angelenos on point with the clubs, spinning the latest dance records and offering conversations with the biggest names in house music, including Joe Claussell, Louie Vega (MAW), Osunlade, Ron Trent, and Quentin Harris. Les Nubians, Amel Larrieux, Rachelle Ferrell, Vikter Duplaix, Charlie Dark (Attica Blues), Kim Hill, and Julie Dexter have also stopped by for interviews and guest DJ sets.

From the airwaves to the dance floor, Kristi energizes L.A. nightlife. The Vibemaker Larry M

LaMill was exposed to Detroit and Chicago House while attending Central State University in Wilberforce Ohio way back in 1985. Raised in midwest, the cradle of Funk, LaMill, although musically in tune, was never exposed to such sounds. House felt like home. His musical spirit had been found, the fire of house music was caught and began to flourish. It was at this time he caught the waning days of such mythical spots like The Music Box, The Red Parrot, and The Music Institute, unaware of the historical and and personal influence these clubs and there DJ's would have. He has affinity for Detroit and Chicago house, but it is labels such as Stricyly Rhythm,Defected and Soulfuric, that really speak to his musical tastes. his musical tastes, strange to the locals, doomed or destined him to the ranks of bedroom DJ's around the world. But seeing and meeting some of his House heroes, inspired him to look past his front door. People such as Derek May, Dimitri from Paris, Bob Sinclair, Frankie Knickles, Martin Solveig, Little Louie Vega, and danny Krivit, to name a few, played the same things on their CD's and in their sets that Larry did giving him confidence in his musical ear and selection. With this new found confidence in addition to much practice DJ Larry Miller has embarked to join his heroes and mentors on the mission to spread house throughout the world and move bodies and lift spirits.
