BT at 9:30 Club

So, did anyone else from the DC area go see BT at the 9:30 club last night? What were your thoughts?

Personally, I was disappointed. Maybe it's

because I am spoiled with Twilo in NYC

and Buzz in DC, but there were a few things that I didn't like. First, BT played for a measely hour. Unbelievable. He's from DC

and gives us an hour. I think we waited

from 8:15PM until 10PM (when he came on)

listening to the entire spectrum of dance

music. Everything from breakbeat to

progressive house/trance to jungle.

Annoying and it was not even loud enough.

As for the crowd, the people were nice

and all, but I just don't get the folks

that wanna be up front and don't wanna

dance?

On a positive note, BT performance (for

the hour he played) was very good. He

worked the crowd wonderfully getting

as many people jumping up and down as he

could and the music was well, exactly

like his releases. I say, the best

songs were 'Believer' and 'Dreaming'...

my faves.
