My boyfriend and I are visiting his family in the D.C. area over <a href="http://www.clubplanet.com/thanksgiving/" target="_blank">thanksgiving</a> and we were wondering what's going on down there. We already have tickets to the Ultraworld party on Sat. but were looking for something to do on Friday night. I'm all sad about missing S&D (we're from NYC so we ussually go) so I'm trying to find something else exciting to do.Thank you so much for any help! p.s. what's good for shopping, museums, stuff to do during the day? copleyc Posted November 21 Report Share Posted November 21 Paul Oakenfold is playing at Nation on friday night, but I think tickets are sold out already. he's also playing afterhours at a club called '5' which is in dupont circle (corner of 18th & connecticut) on the same night. bars in this area are OK too - dragonfly (1215 connecticut) and eighteenth street lounge opposite. or try the Blue Room on 18th st in Adams Morgan.for shopping and stuff take a wander around georgetown. the museums and art galleries are mostly on the mall - and there are hundreds, all free, so it depends what you're particularly interested in....
