scratchapella Posted March 5 Report Share Posted March 5 I guess no one else made it NY for the weekend except me. The Gatecrasher party at Limelight was off the hook! I got there around 12 and stayed till about 7am. The guys that opened for Tiesto were fuckin amazing, Scott Bond n I forget the other's name. Then, TIESTO, oh mah goodness! He put out a lot of trippy,hard trance which was kinda strange, expecting progressive house, but later it progressed. layer upon layer. THe crowd was like climaxing (seriously, like a unified orgasm) when he played Silence (Delrium/tiesto mix). I was sober the whole night (had like 2 red bull n vodkas earlier, that's it)and I felt like I was rolling or something, the lights n lasers there were incredible. They had these weird spiderweblike things going on, smokey waves, amazing, comparable to Twilo. The crowd was definately like a night at Twilo. Packed, hardly room to dance, but if you got creative, it made it more fun. Vibe was good. If they have one of these Gatecrasher parties again, I recommend everyone here goes. scratchapella Posted March 15 Author Report Share Posted March 15 yeah, it was tight. but i think one the main reasons why the party was any good was b/c it was the "gatcrasher" party, otherwise, I don't think limelight gets much attention out in NYC.
