I would go listen to Teneglia @ Twilo then off to alphabet city for JP, I remember when he used to play "I'm loosing my mind" what memories =) Then off to Mirage Sat for a little more JP.....leave at 3am & go to hear Junior @ARENA!! romulus Posted June 15 Report Share Posted June 15 Arena was an incredible party. The Palladium was the first reason I ever came to NYC. I live a block away now - I have to walk by it every day. I followed Junior every weekend for 2 and 1/2 years, partly at Arena from Jan 97 till is closed in August of 97.Arenaareyouthere? EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR! What I'm sure almost all of you DON'T know is that clubNYC has been around since then. We used to meet up at Arena, 6:30 at the photobooth every Saturday. I made some great friends through this site back then. The demographic was considerably different back then too. I used to post here every day from 96-98.
