VINYL REVIEW

Recommended Posts

I hit Vinyl and heard Danny spin for the first time since he sent me hate mail back in the day because I said he had no neck. Long story. Anyway, I had a great time. The vibe in that place was the best I've felt in a loooong time. Danny spun great. It felt good being in a place in NYC that let's you wear sneakers. Got there at 1:00 and left at 4:00. It was a good three hours of fun.

Hell yeah, Danny was awesome on friday. I was tired as hell but we kept dancin' till 7 anyway biggrin.gif

JB, the vibe was definately great too. I think everyone was so happy cause of pride weekend. The whole city had a good vibe this weekend.

I gotta say what's up to Crystal Meth, Abstrakt, and the even more gorgeous in person, Lecy, for meetin' up in the chill out room. I wish we could've all jumped around together but maybe next time wink.gif

And the artwork that was all over was cool as hell. I remember goin there like 3 months ago and the walls were blank, there was no chairs or anything in the chillout room, and the floor was covered with sawdust. This is a nice turn around.

Finally, to anyone who wasn't there eek.gif , I just have to rub it in, you missed one of the best nights at Vinyl in a long time.

perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.

Yo CM,

Judy was a sweet little honey, and she sounded great live. That was definately cool. Do you know if she went in the lounge to give out some cd's?

Didn't see her perform.

Question.....is the crowd always like that or was it more gay due to Pride Weekend????

Blaze,

Definitely due to Pride. There is always a Gay contingent, as there always has been, but a definite more turnout for the weekend.

No drama ever at Vinyl. Gotta love it.

Peace

Elisha,

How is that knee? You really should rest that up for awhile. Either way DT isnt in town for a few weeks anyway.

Yeah, we talked with Judy near 5ish or so, almost 6. She did great!

Hi, Crossymaster, as I mentioned it was my first time there, usually I go to clubs where there is some dress code. I just have to get use to the crowd b/c I liked the muzik that's all
