Now if a dealer is busted with 500 pills or more he will have to face 20+ years in prison. This law was a result to huge growth of ecstasy use in the United States. cdaddy Posted July 4 Report Share Posted July 4 damn fellas, get the law right at least..KNOW your laws! under 1/2 oz (about 50 single stacked pills) iS A 3RD DEGREE MISDEMENOR (personal use),50-100 over 1/2 oz but under 1 oz is UP to 10 years in jail on a distribution charge, OVER 1 OZ which is about 100 single stack pills is now similar to a kingpin charge and is 20 year in a STATE prison (as opposed to fed). Formerally any possession weither 1 pill or 10000 pills was a 3rd degree misdemenor which is a very flexable charge b/c it can be as little as a year's probation and a small fine or UP to 5 years in jail...take care and be safe! cdaddy Posted July 5 Report Share Posted July 5 e was legal in the us until 1985 it was pretty much outlawed due to the European (british gay club) experiences with it in the early 1980's when it was sold in only a powder form...proper dosages were also unknown to many of those who were doing the drug at that time...there were MANY cases of heat exhaustion and hypothermia due to the fact that e deregulates your bodys natural thermostat making it easy to overheat or freeze...now e is primairly sold as a pill (held together with cellulose b/c pure mdma will not form without a coogialant) or gelcap.
