thomaskm1
I've been given this one a lot of thought, and as I get home from a nice night behind the decks at a local hole, a little on the edge and in that head state, thought of trance once lost, Sasha... plain and simple, those six AM, grooves Sasha would start rolling out that just locked on your body, mind and heart. You couldn't leave the floor, even when you were completly drained of any sort of energy, all reserves on empty and you still can't tare yourself away for a second. When he is on like that, no one comes close to perfecting that soul connection for me. On those nights you could hear what seperates him from Digweed, cause all Digs could do was maintain the floor at that point. Digs is defintely the more consostant of the two, but when Sasha is on, its on that night.Sorry a little wired...------------------parish...-beat slacker mac-
janky
Definitely Digweed. I've been a fan ofhis since I first heard Bedrock's"For What You Dream Of". Ever sincethat track, I have searched high andlow with anything having Digweed'sname on it, including Jackpot Records'"John Digweed presents Jackpot", whichI have recently rediscovered in mycollection. This was before I evenstarted liking Sasha (which didn'toccur until after I had started visitingTwilo on the last Friday of the month). Also, the last 3 or 4 SND nights @ Twilo haveproven one thing to me. While Sashacan play the most amazing trance andget the crowd bouncing better thanDigweed in the late part of the night(Digweed is a shy guy. That's the onething that bothers me. How can Digweednot bounce? I mean, at 7AM he's spinningthis chaotic progressive trance and he'sstill keeping complete control of his body),it's Digweed that provides the transitionsand thus the overall journey (say forexample at Twilo). Thus, it's Digweedall the way in terms of his DJ skillsand his production skills (listen to'Voices' baby!).
