rudeboyyouth Posted September 8 Report Share Posted September 8 I find it strange that some of the underground anthems that have hit mainstream happen to be "Shhhh be quiet," and "Kernkraft 400." I wonder why it was these songs, out of the so many house anthems that were popular last summer and the summer before that like "Afrika." I just found it strange...I used to hear Jonah's track all the time back in 98 then it died down for a bit. Then all of a sudden I heard it on KTU and I was surprised. It's good that these underground hits are getting a name now, even though alot of the people who call up and request the play don't know shit. Alot of the compilations coming out now as well are helping to bring house to a new level. I just pray it doesn't affect the quality of the house music here in New York.
