First Experience at Sound Factory and what i noticed

First of all, let me inform everyone that ive been clubbing for quite a while now.

Well, first me and couple of my friends got there around 2:30 on a Saturday and noticed that the line was kinda short. Liked that at first but thought it was a bad sign because from what i heard it suppose to be huge. (does it get long later on or something?)

Second thing that i noticed is that it was like 100 % white with everyone wearing black, no diversity at all (this was confirmed on the inside as well). However we got in with no problems, even with one of our us wearing sneakers, im assuming probably because it was still early enuf, from factory's point-of-view.

Had problems with the <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/guestlists/" TARGET="_blank"> guestlist</A> because they didnt have my name on it at all. I was a little surprised because i used Clubplanet's online <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/guestlists/" TARGET="_blank"> guestlist</A> too.

Overall i was rreally surprised to see so many juiceheads in the club. WoW, the ratio of juiceheads to normal guys was larger than at my gyms. smile.gif However i didnt see anyone start fights or be an asshole, so i didnt mind too much. Also there was a lot of good looking girls inside which was a plus. I didnt notice anyone doing K, like i used to hear. Maybe cuz i didnt look hard enuf or ppl are being more discreet these days.

The music was really good cuz it was more hard house with alot of bass. I was pleasantly surprised because i loved JV's style at the tunnel, was expecting a lot of vocals from JP, but his music was a plus.

Overall, the one thing that got me liking the club was that it was PAcked and filled even when we were leaving at around 8 AM.

I mean most clubs empty out at around 6 Am, so i was really in the mood to stay even longer because there was so many ppl at that time.

BTW what time does SF close on saturdays?

Actually, i'll be there this Saturday again since its my last weekend of winter break and after that back to school upstate.

And thanx for mentioning that the music gets the best at 9 AM...this time im gonna try to stay till 11 AM if it's still crowded. WoOp!

One last thing that would make SF a lot better would be more diversity, in ppl and in attire, cuz it seemed like it was 98 % italian (no offense meant). I know that im generalizing but at least that was my impression.

I guess we all cant have a club 100 % the way each of us wants it to be.

HAHA,

Apothesis: your so right.

Going up and down the stairs was a trip in itself.

THere are other stairs in the back? I didnt notice, i only saw 2 flights of stairs next to each other and one going up to the loaunge or whatever that room is.

I've tried the clubplanet <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/guestlists/" TARGET="_blank"> guestlist</A> at the Factory before. They told me that they no longer deal with the clubplanet list.

I did not have a problem with being on the list. Tell them that you are on the house list. That should take care of it.

The lights came on at 2:30 and I left at 2:45.

The K was there and not very discrete either.

About the <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/guestlists/" TARGET="_blank"> guestlist</A> ,

probably something got screwed up cuz i did say i was on the HOuse list, but they didnt have my name.

Also i asked about the clubplanet's list and they told me the same thing... that they dont deal with clubplanet no more.

About the K, I probably dindnt notice it cuz i was mostly on the main floor.

ALso does JP spin there the whole night or do they have someone else spin there for few hours. Even though most of the music was hard, at like about 5 to 7 AM or so the music changed into something like slow, groovy, tribal house which basically killed some of the energy off.
