Ask! You have nothing to lose except the words no thanks. Its not like you are asking him to be your significant other. To me V-day is not a big deal anymore. I have definitely gotten over the hype. But sometimes it is cute and feels grade schoolish (in a good way) . If you really do have feelings for someone, you shouldn't wait till a day like V-day to tell them, IMHO.
