Frankly, I think your girlfriend is stupid for not getting on the pill. Props to her if she insists on using condoms, but in my experience the damn things just aren't reliable enough. They have something like a 12% failure rate! I think everyone not in monogamous relationships should use them as protection against STDs, but I don't think they should be used alone to prevent pregnancy. When I first started having sex I just used condoms, and sometimes they would break and I would spend the rest of the month in asolute terror waiting for my period, which was NOT fun. With things out there like Depo-Provera, so you don't even have to take a pill every day, there's rarely a good excuse for not making that extra step.Don't hassle your girlfriend about it though... even if she was on the pill she has every right to ask you to wear a condom.------------------"Nothing makes one more vain than being told one is a sinner."
