If you have one record that is 128 beats-per-minute (BPM) and another that is 132 BPM, the PITCH controls will make the 128 BPM record faster to match the 132 BPM.Cartridge is the needle on the turntable. Most needles are two parts, a cartridge and the stylus. The stylus is the small plastic thing that has the diamond tipped needle. When a DJ breaks a needle, he has to get a new stylus.
