cmb1975
Feb 14, 2001 — Sopranos creator/executive producer David Chase won't be singing with his TV mobsters after season four. According to the New York Daily News, Chase told guests at New York's Museum of Modern Art Monday night that the fourth season of HBO's critically acclaimed Mob drama would be his last. The third season premieres March 4, and season four will air next year. As part of Chase's deal with HBO for the Sopranos' third and fourth seasons, AOL-Time Warner, HBO's parent company, agreed to finance If I Fell, a feature film about the music business written and directed by Chase. But The Sopranos could continue without Chase. That decision would be made by HBO and Brad Grey Productions, which own the series. —Diane Snyder, Gist TV Staff------------------ The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
