back2basics-
Ok it comes from the WareHOUSE in Chicago. People who went to the Warehouse used the word house as a compliment, so somebody who was cool would be called house. 'your SO house.' etc.------------------I want to go out blazing..not fade away.Trust in the currency of relationships, it's hard to earn but easy to loose - back2basics

nefpratiti
yeah..larry levan and frankie knuckles- childhood buds and used to spin together at a bunch of spots all over ny...then knuckles started alternating for levan at the continental bath- finally taking over the spot when leavan left...around the time that levan was starting up the paradise garage (76-77), he was offered the gig at the warehouse in chicago...since he was all wrapped up w/ the garage thang/present gig at reade street, he elected knuckles instead...and well, the rest is history as they say....
