Jilly Posted June 20 Report Share Posted June 20 yes...as we said before..there are NO good "dance" clubs in new orleans..but here is where I would check out...the warehouse district has some cool places to hear live music...one called the howlin wolf...also check out who is at tipitina's, a legendary place to hear live music..that is more towards the garden district...There also is another area with some cool places kinda past the french quarter..not sure what is there now but there were 2 places...cafe iguana and cafe istanbul that are cool...actually..one of the best underground house music parties I have ever been to was at cafe istanbul..this was about..hmm 1993...only a select few even knew about it..god damn now I'm getting chills as I said earlier..get a "gambit" paper as soon as you get there...also..you may want to call WTUL (the tulane radio station) and ask them what is going on..have fun and stay cool..-J------------------" I give in to sin ..Because you have to make this life liveable "-DMSmoknjilly@aol.com Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
