DJ Renegade
hey what's up. Tomorrow night I will be playing at Roseland with Liquid Todd and there will be a live musical performance by the Tender Idols and Space Hog.The party is from 7pm-12Midnight. The tickets are kinda steep, priced at $250 each but they are priced like that to ensure a top crowd of industry heavies and models and such. All of the money that is made from this night is going to a charity called "Save the Music" which puts instruments and such in classrooms for needy students. Here is the whole VH-1 release on the party. On Tuesday, June 26th, 2001, VH1 Save The Music is teaming up with Box ltd. and Julie Anne Quay to produce an event unparalleled in the worlds of music, photography and fashion; The Exhibition, to be held at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, will include photos of legendary rock, pop and fashion icons by some of the world's most illustrious fashion photographers, including Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier and Annie Leibovitz, to be auctioned off to benefit the VH1 Save The Music Foundation. Subjects include Mick Jagger, Jennifer Lopez and Jimmy Hendrix. The evening will feature musical performances by the Tender Idols, Spacehog, and a Live Set by DJ Renegade. Tickets for the event are $250 a piece. The event is sponsored by Box Ltd., DKNY, Estée Lauder, and Mumm Cuvee Napa. For a list of photographers and the Host Committee click here.
