I've been around the dotcom (dotbomb) block for about 6 years and I've seen salaries go as high $120k for rockstar designers, back in the golden age...1998-1999. Up until recently the average salary for an experienced senior designer was about $70k and about $45 for a junior designer.Nowadays it's a different story. Designers are lucky just to have a job, so people are more or less taking whatever they can get.
