tatgirl
I can't believe 1/2 a week has gone by and no one has even started a thread on this topic. I wanna hear how it was, so I'm starting it. Go!
bull
He was on... Best set I've seen in a long time. There's nothing else to say.
malanee
Well, I liked his set in Miami better - but I'm sure he tailors it to the crowd. It was pretty good, though - you know, traditional oakie! I'm really excited about hearing D:Fuse on Saturday, though. He'll probably throw out some really progressive sh*t!
shadygroovedc
I will keep my mouth shut. Egg, Juro, Superfli, any of you want to jump in on this? :D
kramadas
Actually, Oakey was a bit too uplifting trancy for me...however, it was not as cheesy as I expected. Personally, I liked the guy before better, and Krishna after Oakey came in with some really good hard trance.

vicman
I dont know why people like to complain about Oakenfold. I guess since its Oakenfold they think that he will play all the music they like. Other DJ's and producers have also come out with some weird stuff, and they also suck sometimes when they spin at clubs.I thnk he was very good, the crowd was into it, and at least everyone I saw was dancing, so I guess that is indicative that he played good stuff. And I know that I was not the only one who had to down a liter of water because I was drenched from all the dancing, nor was I the only one who woke up the following afternoon with his feet hurting.Worth to mention also was Krishna, he also played some good shit.

Hey, if Oakie keeps droppin' the cheese, I'll keep knockin' him. And even though I wasn't there, I can still take an educated guess and say that his set was full of massive breakdowns, drumrolls, and all kinds of non-thought-provoking cheesiness. And c'mon, you know Oakie bashing's fun. You want to get in on it, you know you do.
