dialectics Posted August 23 Report Share Posted August 23 stereotopia is @ hammerstein ballroom (on 34th st in manhatten), saturday night. they have 4 rooms: techno/trance, hip hop, breaks and chillout. there should be more of a raver crowd then a clubber crowd, and the lineup is really nice.in the techno room, spacegirl will be doing a live PA set (she rocks - using keyboards and drum synths and everything), and derrick may (one of the chicago 3 who started this whole crazy scene) will be spinning, i've been looking forward to seeing him live for a long time. joey beltram + atomic babies round out the headliners, but also there will be a lot of northeast dj's like pleasurehead and x-dream, and venom will probably close with a hard/funky set. i don't really like hip-hop at all, but i'm really looking forward to the x-ecutioners. my co-worker knows them personally and said that they're really wicked (they do all of the scratchy-scratchy stuff). the website with all the details is here: www.globalbass.netyou can always give me a call (917)731-9077 or e-mail me @ rjt72@columbia.eduRob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
