I didn't se moby there. Others were though. It was fun I got my friend Christine to come that I haven't hung out with n 2 years because I was so into my relationship. IT was fun but too crowded. I couldn't make it to DT. I was so exhausted. What did you guys think.

If any of you saw me there I had american flags painted on my eyes, with sparkles too.

Definitely too crowded, though the Pinky Room was more manageable and the main room cleared up some after DT came on.

I was under the impression that the party was $20 minimum, $40 RECOMMENDED. But when I got to the door, I found out it was $40 MINIMUM. Now, I don't know who spread the rumor about $20, but it sucked big time that I barely had enough money left to buy a few bottles of water (and no, I wasn't rolling).

With all due respect to the victims and their families, I was prepared to pay as much as I could really afford -- and that's how much I took out of the bank beforehand.

Enough whining. I HAD A BLAST. I hadn't danced in weeks (funding problems plus the obvious). I let out about 50 tons of pent up energy on the main floor, then moved down to the Pinky Room when I started feeling tired. Listened and danced to some great house down there, until it turned to rap. I was about to leave, but on my way out DT came on. I thought I'd already missed him!

I caught my second wind immediately and stayed for about another hour.

Well worth the $40. I just wish I'd been prepared. Was anybody else taken by surprise?

Yeah, I was definitely taken off guard...just as I walked in a guy pushed in front of me and told the girls taking money that they should start saying $40, that's it....so I just missed it!

On the bright side, it was for a really good cause and a great time, and I'm pretty sure they hit their goal...twas definitely worth it.

i met moby downstairs in th pinky and said hello. he was walking around the club. i don't know if he spun. how late did they stay open?

That $20 minimum was on the flyer (see danny's site), but it was well worth the money regardless. Yes I did see Moby there walking around at some point...at least he was there, though I expected something more out of him. Danny topped off a great night and played a longer set than most expected. He managed to play an absolutely brilliant and emotional set until 7 (and now I'm paying for it, in work, on barely 2 hours sleep). That Pinky was absolutely slammin all night. Every DJ played a mix of classics and uplifting songs (there was a lot of soul and spiritualism down there) and I got to say there was a wonderful feeling in the place all night, especially Danny, the love you could feel was just beautiful. And I must add the tag team between Francois K and Lil Louis was something special. Peace to all.

Oh yeah, at around 5 Danny said that they had collected $100,000 just at the door and all drinks and tips went to the fund too...I'd say they surpassed their goal.
