I am looking for feedback from people who have been to it as recently as a month ago. I passed by it on Saturday night and it looked sick, the line was crazy. I need to know info on such things as the people at the door, how easy/hard it is to get in with a bunch of guys, opinions on the crowd, music etc. We can bring girls if we have to, but we'd rather meet some there, which will happen either way, but is more of a hassle when you bring girls with you. I guess either way there is going to be a hassle, either at the door, or meeting some guidette monsters. My good friend is a promoter there, but whatever he tells me, I usually take as promoter talk. VIP room with glass wall overlooking dance floor was a nice touch. Drinks are a little on the weak side and the atmosphere sucks for the most part. It seems like everyone that goes there thinks they are special because they were able to get into such an "exclusive" club. Which, by the way isn’t all that exclusive. My opinion is that this place is a total waste of time.My group recently did and it was a major let-down. Contrary to a pre-arranged agreement, at 11pm the management decided we couldn't occupy a certain portion of the VIP room and shuttled my entire party from one end of the room to the other. Then they refused to let some of our friends enter, citing a dress code (despite the fact that a quick scan of place proved the dress code was enforced on some, but not all patrons).In addition, the drinks at One51 are so weak they'd be allowed at an AA meeting. Around 11:30 my party decided not to let this horrible establishment ruin our friend's birthday party.
