jacktripper00
If you want regular NYC style house cd's, I would have to say the best place (in my opinion) is Sound City, on Steinway Street, in Astoria.....
tatiana22
Go to Joe's CDs on Christopher Street! They have everything!!!
tribal
for the place, i know it sounds cheesy, but they have excellent selection and listening posts, HMV on 46th and 5th ave. good prices too. for the album themselves, id suggest Lazy Dog for that deep sound, Danny Tenaglia - Tourism (for the NY feel) and some John Creamer and Stephanie K, for that pure ass bumping sound. scoob-e
az-tec: this might sound cheesy but the electronic section at jandr music world is fuckin mint. They get the newest cd maxis the day they come out unlike most mom and pop shops (from what your post sounded like, this is what he needs). www.jandr.com
