info on club world?

Recommended Posts

hi all... heading towards the world like every other sheep with $47, so i'm very curious about the mechanics of that particular club. can anyone tell me....

- when do we expect tiesto to come on? and how long will he spin for?

- is there a dress code?

- how long is the line, being as it that we've got tickets anyway

- best time to arrive?

- how is security?

thanks,

rob

damn i have not heard one positive thing about this club. even exit has its devotees.... (no offense guys, just not my scene).

i mean i guess it starts off on a bad note when you're already paying $47 to get in.....

What's so wrong with this place that it gets so much shit?

i know lots of people had a bad experience the last time for scot project @ world, on a friday. let's just say that event was their first attempt at a friday, 18+, hard trance crowd, and management wasn't happy with what they got.

the typical saturday crowd is b&t, 21+, dressy, and big on drinks; music is nyc cheez, so you can see why they 86'ed the short lived friday party.

regardless, i'll be at world on sat for tiesto. there should be a definite change in the crowd, cuz any uninformed juiceheads on line will change their minds when they find out that cover is $40.

anyway, here's my attempt at your questions:

-no guesses at set times/club closing time as of yet, but tiesto usually plays a 3 hour set.

-usual door policy includes trendy dress code. doormen are selective. single guys wait longer than girls. don't know how advance ticket holders will be treated.

-line gets long after midnight. again, no clue on advance ticket holders.

-get there early for less hassles.

-security: no body search. they're usually chill unless you look wacked-out.
