I was in AC for some part of sat... My self and my nyc and nj friends all agree, AC is gonna be the new NYC someday in the northeast (entertainment wise) ....My reasons are simple,

1. AC has more vistors then Vegas every year. (nj vistors stay avg of 12 hours vs vegas avg stay is 3 days)

2. We have a beach with a board walk.

3 We have too many seniors but that don't matter.

4 Clubs are starting to pop up down there and ppl are realizing you could make a ton of dough down there.

5 The place is filled with newyorkers, pen ppl and nj ppl, even deleware.

6 AC airport is awesome, free parking... Its cheep and best of all we don't have to fly.

7 Big time acts are starting to go down there.

8 They are building more casinos and the recent legalization of gambling in ny is not expected to impact AC in a very negative way.

9 The tunnel is finished

10 I think 4 more Vegas style casinos are being built.

11 We will soon be able to take trains down there which would kick ass. (you can now but limited) I want lakewood service... hey a bus aint' bad either.

12 Seaside is going down hill. More clubbers less bar patrons and less tourists. Most are passing SSH by for other towns.

13 AC has got one kick ass sky line, and more and more of the trash is being forced out,(not fast enough though).....

14 Where I live I'm more inclined to go to AC instead of NYC. NYC is too expensive. By the time you get there, pay for gas and parking and shit like that you spent 75 bucks.

15 AC is real easy in and out. Just a few tolls on the parkway and AC expressway,

16 AC 24 hour drinking. Strip joint sucks though.

17 Vegas is Vegas, I've been there a couple of times and I like AC better. but vegas is a great place to get in trouble.

I not implying AC will replace NY but it will give us a great viable alternative to NYC and SSH.

18 Plus they are always building more golf courses down there too.

Here is some info on a new casino down there.

Boughner, chief executive of the $1 billion Borgata being built in the Marina District.

Borgata, of course, will be new and have such critical mass, with 2,010 hotel rooms, a shopping area, spa and other nongaming amenities.

Could you imagine if the Donald wanted to build the club of all clubs????

Like i said it aint' replacing NYC and the Jersey shore up here but its starting to be a great place to party. AGree or disagree......
