THEY ARE HORRIBLE... and they make you have this funky taste that never goes away. i woke up this morning and my tongue was hot pink... i think that i am abnormal... someone fix me. thehacker Posted October 29 Report Share Posted October 29 iron is a known immune system booster.prior to surgery one time i had to take iron supplements so the blood i was putting into the blood bank for myself for the surgery (saved them having to dip into their supply) and i felt pretty damn good for those three weeks despite it being in december and at the height of a bad cold & flu season. iron defintely leaves a bad taste in your mouth. and enough of it makes you poop green. didn't mean to get too graphic but just sayin' it so ya know it's normal.
