roll-x
if you wanna do mixing similar to the real deal just get virtual turntables, great prog...and you dont need hardware, except for headphones if you prefer. you actually hook the headphones up and que up songs, I love it. 12inch
You want to see a DJ spin with a computer go to Paradox night club in plainfield, Saturday nights, with Dj Fritz. He uses mp3's all night. Anthony Mac from Centrofly was there 4 week ago and he brought some new technology. It was a digital turn table that hooked up to a computer and worked just like vinal. The disc was the same size as vinal and hooked up to a regular turn table but the feed went into a computer and you could place whatever song you wanted to drop as an mp3. Instead of changing vinal all the time you just replace the mp3 on the computer. You can scratch, do spin backs, basically anything you can do with regular vinal. I couldn't find a price on the site. I think they cost around 80 bucks. They sell it where I work....Its just a fancy CD player. All you can do is fade one track to the next. You cant change the BPM, you cant loop, repeat, or do anything that a real dj would.....For the same price, you can get computer programs like MixMiester or Acid. These programs offer you alot more freedom in mixing and fucking around with tracks. You can almost dj like a real dj...
