sub promoters = promotional sluts??

Recommended Posts

Depends..

if I know the characters throwing

the party I feel that they are spreading

"THE GOOD WORD"..

but If I see a kid handing out EXIT FLYERS and blowing it

up on the boards then next week

promoting a Drum and bass gig I'm confused!

(it just reaks of a phoney $$ scam..

like a car sales pitch)

I promote/sub promote

shit that I HOPE you all will like...

BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN IT

FOR

WHATEVER REASON..

(Some times i fall in love with

the DJ..

Or I Love an IDEA

and location and I want to open your eyes!)

I also mostly do it FOR FREE!

Or I LET YOU ALL IN FOR

FREE!

For me it's more like SHARING

A POSSIBILITY OF A GOOD PARTY

VRS TRYING TO SELL YOU SOMETHING!

I think there is a big difference with that..

just my humble mugwumpian opinion!

I sub-promote too, but as you'll (or maybe have) notice(d), I only do it for one party, GBH and some special Release parties for DJs. I did it because GBH parties rock (that's my opinion, I agree there are defintely are shortcomings with the club and crowd and even the party sometimes.) I don't do it for money cuz, otherwise I'd become a promoter slut to 100 parties for the entire week like you said Transcend. I make more per hour at my real job then time spent promoting. A lot of the time I also help promote friend's parties for free, or even spread the word about parties listed on here if I think they're cool.

peace
