As far as hotels go... try expedia.com That's what I would use since the rates and availability are right there on the screen. Then just call the hotels directly. There are so many little hotels in the area that only someone who actually lives on the beach could, reliably, give you the name of a couple of good bets. Sorry I couldn't be more informative. Read the other badge post for details.As for where to stay, most of us stay in our homes/appartments and dont often need a hotel. But Ill try anyway.The Pelican is nice and kind of cool and a great location. About ($150+ a night)The Delano is really nice and the place to stay if you can expense it. $200 ishThere are a group of 3 hotels on Washington & 11th Ave, One of them is called the Taft (Im pretty sure) I cant remember the other 2 (pod help me out) but they are all run by the same company and have common grounds. If you are looking for a reasonable place in a good location, this is it. Rooms are decent but the location and price are great. $65-$100 a nightAll in all just make sure you stay on the beach and not downtown or anything. Trust me on this one!
