shugabooga Posted January 10 Report Share Posted January 10 upper east side, lower east side, midtown? my suggestion would be to go to citysearch.com and do some investigating......how about the tapas lounge on 1st ave & 60th? or leopard lounge at 5th & 2nd ave? not as upscale as the hudson or cherry. gwyllion Posted January 10 Report Share Posted January 10 Chez Es Saada 1st/ 1st Ave. for drinksTake her around the corner to Boca Chica for some Mexican, or this place called Elephant next door - I hear they have excellent food. You can eat at Chez Es Saada, but they drinks are far more superb than their cusine. Also you could try Ole on 25th (I think) and 2nd Ave. - excellent sangria and traditional Spanish food. lucabrase Posted January 10 Report Share Posted January 10 Abaya is a really cool lounge in the lower east side. As for the East Village, there is a nice little lounge called The Street that i like.
