bigpoppanils
John Ashcroft has excused himself from the coming investigation into Enron due to "conflict of interest"uh-oh....lots of people are going down with this ship
deeprock
That's no big deal. Judges and prosecutors do it all the time. A conflict could mean something as innocent as someone having a single share of stock in a company they are either judging or investigating. Recusing himself was the right thing to do. If he didn't recuse himself I'd be worried.

The Texas Attorney General's office recused themselves because of conflicts of interest. It was the right thing to do. Enron donated to alot of campaigns, both republicans and democrats.
