Chocolate Oat Bars)Preheat oven to 350.Cream together: 1 c. butter, 2 c. brown sugarThen beat in: 2 eggs, 2 Tablespoons vanillaIn another bowl, mix: 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, 3 c. rolled oatsIn a pan on the stove, stir over low heat: 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces(12 oz), 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz), 2 Tablespoons butter, 1/4 teaspoon saltWhen smooth, add: 1 c. chopped nuts, 1 teaspoon vanillaNow combine the egg and flour mixtures and pat about 2/3 of it into a cookie sheet. Pour chocolate mixture on top and spread. Sprinkle butterscotch chips over chocolate. Sprinkle toffee pieces (like Heath bar crumbs) over this. Dot top with remainder of oat mixture.
