tommy-c
Im Djing at this bar Saturday night. It is quite a diverse crowd. From ages 21 - 40 years old. But at the moment theres a Dj that usually plays all shitty oldies. We want to attract a better crowd. Im not sure what type of music to play. Like z100 type music? Or some oldies remixes? Please help..-----------------------------Tommy-C
DJMikeE
sounds rough. i spin at bars up here, but its college crowd=lotta commercial vocals IMO, some disco / funk might work
djmikedr
Been doing bars 14 years. Its the cross between a club and a private gig.Try to get the "older" requests out of the way first. As the younger crowd tends to stay longer.I used to do 15-20 min sets of different types of music all night long. It doesnt "flow" per say, but I catered to everyone.remember (differently from a club, these people are here for the alcohol, not the music first).
