Staten Island question

Recommended Posts

i've been looking for houses past 6months or so and houses in SI are definetely cheaper (also newer and better) than most areas of Queens, Edgewater-ft lee area, Nassau and Brooklyn.

Staten island hasn't had bad odor's in about 4 years......the dump is closed. Great kills is a great area. You would have no problems there. but as far as saying house's are cheaper on SI, I think your nuts. you can get a bigger and probably better house in jersey. Besides traffic on staten island is a nightmare. The island is way too small for the amount of people that live there.

Staten Isalnd is a noman's land. it's not NJ but not quite NY. it's basically an isolated island with high population. the ferry takes like 45 min and if you take bus from manhattan to SI it takes more than an hour and the dump is no picnic either. lot of mafia retirees live there, i don't knowwhy.
