For example, I just read the Why R U girls so damn crazy for Any1? thread and I was dumbfounded by the lack of punctuation, proper grammar, spelling, etc. And this isn't the only example of idiotic uses of the English language. I can't understand why anyone would want ebonics to be an alternative language, much less a second language, nor can I even contemplate why a person would think of listening to rap music, devoid of all proper English. Also, can we try, just for a little while, to stop using words like MAD, CHILL, ILL, and other Ebonic utterances? I just think that when French people, English people, and other foreign peoples, namely the Canadians, mock us and our ways, they have good reason to.
