...actually enjoy what you're doing? im seeing a lot of posting here. i think that if i was at my dream job i would be doing that, so my point is, how do we get paid good money to do what we love? like for us, if we could start a business of just sitting around and bullshiting all day, are throwing parties or going to parties, we would have the best of both worlds, you know what im saying? does anyone else think that they're job is lame, but can't leave because the money in your field is good?

I'm actually kinda happy with what I do. But there's some downtime to post and fuck around cause I just blow off a lot until the last minute.

My take on the dream job thing is there's no such thing as a dream job. No matter what, work is work. That's why they call it work. Anytime you have to do something day in, day out - where your livelihood depends on it - whether it's throwing parties or what, I think it would just get old and become just another job after a while. If there were such a thing as an easy and fun job, then everyone would be doing it, and everyone would be getting rich off of it. But no matter how much fun something may be, I think as soon as you have the pressure of doing it to pay the bills, the fun gets zapped out of it somewhat, and it becomes work.

Some things may be more fun than others, but at the end of the day, nothing beats going home and cuddling with the donkey.

Oh, crap! Did I just say that out loud???

I guess I fall somewhere in the middle. I don't love what I do but I don't hate it either. I guess the day when I wake up and decide to stay home rather than go to work is the day I need to update my resume. Is my job lame? I don't really think so. I'm respected and liked, got my own office, pay kinda stinks but the benefits make up for it. What sucks is that vacation time is super limited and all the women here are busted (except for one [Vic knows who I'm talking about]) Jroo, I think the million dollar question should be: Do you work to live or do you live to work?

I like what I do for the most part. Day to day activities can be boring - which is why you may see a lot of me - but overall, I enjoy Criminology and I work for an excellent organization.

I wouldn't want to party full time and I like having a stable routine during the week. My dream job would be doing something in the club industry 1/2 time and something in Criminology 1/2 time. Oh - and I would have 3 day weekends, of course! :D

Same here.. I'm kinda the same way. I'm a big procrastinator.. Although I do work better under pressure.

I like my job.. eventhough I have a lot of deadlines but I can make my own schedule... shut my office door and not talk to anybody if I wish. My colleagues are alright... my boss is okay.. sometimes a jerk.. but then again what boss isn't. The pay is good... well, good for a 23 year old single woman that is. I will be going on business trips soon, so that's kinda exciting. Umm.. the work itself is sometimes challenging so it keeps my brain cells going. I can't complain about my job... but ideally I would want to work in Ibiza at some club or something... but then again a job can't be fun forever... it becomes a routine. I say I'm happy where I am ;)

No, but I'm seriously considering moving back to Hollywood and getting into porn (I was talking this over with my friend yesterday). I need to work out and get bigger first but otherwise I have the rest of the equipment.

I really just might do it.

I actually hte my job, dislike all of my coworkers and my boss! I work a rotating schedule that is 12 hours a day (usually three days in a row) and switch from nights to days every two weeks. And what pisses me off about the schedule is that the guy who made up th schedule, doesn't work it. And since he is the boss he won't change it because that would prove him falible and we can't have that now can we.

And all i do for the twelve hours that iam there is answer the phones and watch CNN, because we aren't allowed to watch anything that isn't news related! If any of you are ever thinking about joing the army, please don't! Unless of course you want to go overseas.

Hey everybody Mentobento is leaving to glorious beautiful Hawaii Friday. You should all say your goodbyes as it is highly doubtful you will ever see her again! She may or may not come on here and post so if you have her number feel free to call her, if not, then I guess yer SOL.

:gas:
