pod Posted February 13 Report Share Posted February 13 I was listening to a Shoutcast stream the other day off of Proton. I think it was a Digweed mix, don't quote me on it, but halfway through the mix, a voice came on and said "DJ so and so, live on XM 82.." ...someone with an XM receiver recorded the XM signal, converted it to MP3, and it ended up at Proton.Gonna look into it some more, but if I'm right it seems XM is doing on the radio exactly what the CP community wants. XM is still a bit too new and small to have an 'live' broadcast from a club...i.e. there's no "Liquid Saturday night South Beach on XM 73" yet, but I think XM could be quite good.
