anthony Posted February 28 Report Share Posted February 28 Breaking News: FBI Tracking Plane With Suspected Terrorist As It Nears NYC FEBRUARY 28TH, 2002Law enforcement officials tell NY1 that a man believed to be on the FBI's "terrorist watch list" is aboard an Air India flight scheduled to land at JFK Airport this afternoon. The plane is being escorted by U.S. and Canadian fighter jets, and authorities are prepared to intercept the passenger upon landing. Authorities say the jets are not visible to the passengers. The North American Air Defense Command tells the Associated Press it is "aware of a potential situation aboard an Air India flight" and is monitoring it. An airline official says "there is no problem with the flight" itself.
