gwyllion
I'm going snowboarding for the second time this weekend. I absolutely loved it, but I was just wondering if anyone has tips for first timers.
georgym
Some tips... hmmm?/?Well, don't get down if you don't get it all right away. A lot about snowboarding is turns (toe side and heel side), and following through the motions with your arms. Just feel loose, relaxed, and use your back foot a lot. I hope the conditions will be nice! It's been a bit mild, and i always found it easier to learn on Powder.
vin diesel
Where the hell do you find good snow?!!
gwyllion
That's the thing - the conditions are okay, but the snow is almost too icy to learn on. Between learning how to turn toe and heelside and going down a semi small hill, putting them together is almost impossible. (Maybe I'm thinking too much) I did fall on my bum real hard once and plenty of times on my frontside, but I am ready to try again. I need the confidence to try heelside stops and turns because I really hurt my tailbone.
