Vegas hotels?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

My boyfriend & I and 2 other couples are all going to Vegas next month, but we haven't decided on which hotel/casino to stay at? We're all 23/24 and want to have as much fun as possible!

Any suggestions? (Price is not a concern.) Thanks!

Thanks... a lot of people have mentioned the Hard Rock, but unfortunately its booked the weekend we want to go.

Also, any suggestions for the best clubs to check out? We like progressive house and trance... thanks again!

If money is not a concern definitly stay at bellagio or venetian....by far the nicest...if you want something a little less upscale, more young crowd/crazy type atmosphere I would say MGM, bottom line is as long as you stay in one of the major hotels on the strip you will have a blast, you cannot go wrong with bellagio, venetian, mgm, mandalay bay, ceasars......and the clubs out there are sick-----c2k-venetian, Ra-luxor hotel, and the beach all hot...and check out kimball collins at club utopia on fridays i think........................whenever i go out there have the craziest time, enjoy

Hey I just moved to Las Vegas a month ago, stay at the HARD ROCK only!!! All the young people stay there. All the other hotels are great, but they are no fun to stay at cuz all the tourists and older people are there.

You can call me if you want when you get to Vegas, I can show you around!!!!!!!

opps I just read that Hard Rock is booked....

Stay at the New York New York then, that's the second place that is good too!! I hope you are renting a car.

I've been to almost all the good clubs here, but the music isn't that great, I miss Sound Factory! Alot of the clubs here start playing Hip-Hop and R&B in the begining of the night, but stick around, they will play house, trance, techno after it, but usually it's the old songs.

Parties to go to:

Sunday: Club Light at the Bellagio. S-R-O for afterhours, there are usually people in the club passing around VIP tickets to get in for free.

Monday: Foundation Room (everyone usually stays in that night)

Tuesday: Studio 54!!!! Get there early, they have LONG lines. Unless you know someone with a VIP card, then go with them! SRO for afterhours, but it isn't that great. Or Drai's for afterhours.

Wednesday: Club RA at the LUXOR. Pleasuredom night, trance all night. Go early. Club is nice, but not that big, clears out like 3-4 am so have fun!

Thursday: Baby's at the Hard Rock.

Friday: Seven (it's not in a Casino) NO COVER for anyone, make sure to wear dressy shoes. Rain in the Palms Hotel. Rain is the biggest club here, but since it just opend in November, it's still not that well known yet. Drai's Afterhours a must, good music on Friday night. Venus for afterhours is okay, a classier place.

Saturday: Seven is PUMPING. As usual, there never is a cover fee. If you like sushi, get it there! (Seven is a resturant in the day and nightclub at night) Other places to go to also: Studio 54, Club Rio in Rio, Rain at the Palms, and Drai's for afterhours. Drai's have long lines and tough security, stick it out, it will be worth it.

All other places like C2K, The Beach, Hush, Cream and House of Blues are not that great. Don't go to Hush, (lounge) you'll hate it. The Beach is more a bar scence with Vegas locals, really stupid music in there (it's the same every week) and stupid drunk fights. C2K got shut down for drugs, but re-opend. House of Blues is a concert place, known to be good on Sunday nights, but the music SUCKS BALLS, there is NO place to sit, you'll be better off at Light Sunday night.

Girls usually are free at some clubs before a certain time, and sometimes get a reduced admission if they have a local ID, so when they ask you if you have a local ID when you pay, say yes :) You will either pay less or get in for free) Guys always have to pay! (but again w/ local ID, the addmisson is less) ALWAYS bring your ID (wherever you go casino or club) cuz NO one gets in w/o and ID. And it's always 21+!!!!! No 18+ parties here.

Good luck!

Thank you EVERYONE, but especially Rachel1997... very helpful!

The trip has changed a bit... I think we are going to do a girls-only getaway instead of couples, and probably not until mid-May. We really want to stay at the Hard Rock so hopefully we can book a room then!

But thanks for all the info, especially on clubs... we will definitely want to go out Friday, Saturday and most likely Sunday night, so more suggestions are welcome.

BTW, Rachel, what is your e-mail address? You'e the expert, so I'd love to pick your brain some more.

Thanks again!

xoxo

then stay at the FOUR SEASONS....which is the top 5 or 6 floors of mandalay - it is a seperate entrance, but you have total use of all mandalay facilities....when you want to get away - the four seasons areas are more secluded, and the sevice there is incomparable!!

i stayed there last august, and i have never been treated so well in my life!!!
