totallytrance
First don't expect too much out of the nightlife, it doesn't compare with NYCs...21+The Giant (www.giantclub.com) (international Djs: PVD, Tiesto, etc.)Spundae (www.spundae.com) (Djs: Carl Cox, Sandra Collins, etc.)Key Club suppose to be good...not sureGarden of Eden 18+Club Blue (NYC Style)You'll be here in the summer, so I'd def. hang out at the beach a lot. It gets crazy at the beach, a lot of people..Go around Hollywood...Def. good "to be" 21 I'm sure CP has lists of LA clubs as well, I don't know a lot about San Diego's nightlife but the beaches are great.Come stop by my place!!! (Although I'll prolly be in NYC)

sebastianxy
If you're going to be in San Diego it's worth it to check out the gaslamp quarter; a several-blocks-long strip of bars clubs and restaurants. Usually the attitude isn't as bad as L.A., and the music is surprisingly good. Also, Pacific Beach, for the laid back surfer chick set where you go out in your best tank top and shorts. Drinks are usually strong and cheap, and the best 24 hour mexican food for the after hour munchies...
