rachel1997 Posted March 11 Report Share Posted March 11 Drawbacks to working in a cubicle1) Being told to "Think Outside the Box" when I'm in thedarn box all day!2) Not being able to check E-mail attachments without firstseeing who is behind me.3) Fabric cubicle walls do not offer much protection fromany kind of gun fire.4) That nagging feeling that if I just press the rightbutton, I will get a piece of cheese.5) Lack of roof rafters for the noose.6) My walls are too close together for my hammock to workright.7) Women: Darned near impossible to adjust your bra or slipwithout comment. Men: Co-workers tend to stare when youtake your pants off.8) 23 power cords, 1 outlet.9) Prison cells are not only bigger, they have beds.10) When tours come through, I get lots of peanutsthrown at me.11) Can't slam the door when you quit and walk out.Happy Monday! thehacker Posted March 17 Report Share Posted March 17 how about...being surrounded by people too goddamn lazy to walk out of their own cubicle to talk to you or ask you a question and instead call you even though they're close enough that you can hear them just as easily without or without actually listening to them on the phone.UGH.thank god i only spent 5 months at the federal reserve bank of ny. seen office space? that movie aptly described my work situation there... then again, who would have guessed that at the next job i would have gotten fired a year later... and then the next one i would have again, quit, because it was too much the exact opposite of a well-run business.hmm.i'm straying way off-topic.uh, to get back on track.DAMN THE CUBICLES.
