nabuc1 Posted March 27 Report Share Posted March 27 No matter how much 3rd parties try to mediate and help the two side come to on agreement there will never be peace over there. The Palistinians want all their land back. The Israelis will only give back what they took during the the 6 day war. Even if Sharon and Arafat where to be shown hugging an International tv proclaiming peace, that would not stop groups like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or the Islamic Liberation Front from continueing their attacks. That feud started 1,000s of years before our time and will still be around 1,000s of years after we are gone. It is a shame that innocent people pay the highest price in these conflicts. This isn't a cruisade this is a group of people who want land that their ancestors occupied thousands of years ago fighting with another group of people who say that that was their ancestors land that was promised to them by their god. This conflict dates back to the time of the Summarian and Canaanites (before Allah appeared before Mohammed). Religion in this case is used as a propaganda tool.
