wallflour
Damn that was a good time... at least for me... not bad for free! (thanks Rob!)It felt great to hear such good house beats after coming from two parties where hip-hop was played most of the time, and where I saw two fights break out. With all due respect to hip-hop (and the people who like it), it's just not my style, and the stuff played was so 5 years ago.Anyways, I think Who Da Funk started it off, followed by some great funky beats by Lottie, followed by the birthday boy himself, Morillo.Did Layo & Bushwacka play? If so, how were they? I wanted to check them out, but I had to leave early because: 1. I need to work on Friday, 2. I need to rest up for PVD. If I go, it'll be my 4th time seeing him, and I've got stuff to do throughout the day on Saturday, including trips to and from both west and east of Manhattan. Damn, I'm crazy.
