No huge builds, the rhythm is the melody... just amped up hard beatz that don't stop. A lot of the stuff Marco Bailey is doing nowadays could be called schranz. Even Thomas Schumacher to some extent. I think DJ Amok still has a page up on mp3.com, so check out his track "Gemetzel (2001 Rework)" if his page is still up. That tune is a pretty good example of schranz.
