  1. Is Scotto doing the lights? I hope On-E plays some old school breaks!
  2. I doubt they're coming to NYC.. it's too late in the game. I don't think any club will host them now, since the event will be only 2 weeks away. How much promotion can you achieve in only 2 weeks? I mean the people that browse CP, NB and EZ would know right away but the people on these boards represents such a small portion of their fan base. I don't think clubs will take a risk and paying delta heavy $$$ when they might not be able to bring many people into the club/venue due to short notice
  3. are the roxy promotor cards the same as the roxy gold cards??
  4. Full Intention "I love America" on Stress Records UK 1995
  5. I don't know what agency you work for but I'm a media planner and I love my fucking job... I get paid really well, I go out to 2-3 rep lunches @ top restarants every week, I get invited to the best parties and the women here are incredible
  6. yeah my first rave was Storm Rave 2 in 1992 in Staten Island.. Everyone was in jeans and t-shirts. Nasa and Satellite (In NYC) propelled the whole Raver style of wearing big jeans and colorful T-shirts.
  7. Blister is always a great party... Good music, great vibe....
  8. The 21+ over policy is due to the venue's discretion, not S&D
  9. Cipriani's on 42nd street is not a restarant. It is a venue for parties. 3000 capacity.
  10. it's all good.. it's a BU v BC thing yeah., lots of BC kids are very close minded. 80% of the kids are rich irish catholic kids from the burbs.. I'm Asian, so I was a minority at the school. The only reason I went to BC was because it's a good school.. anyway, I'll probably hit Rise tonight and Hibernia on Sat... I Hate Manolo so tilt's out of the question. Any other suggestions??
  11. that history lesson was for Roxychic. chill out. and BTW I'm A NEW YORKER Yeah.. and remember ......... Freinds don't let friends go to BU
  12. The Head Of The Charles® Regatta, the world's largest two-day rowing event, was first held on October 16, 1965. The race was established by the Cambridge Boat Club members D'Arcy MacMahon, Howard McIntyre, and Jack Vincent, with the audience of Harvard University sculling instructor Ernest Arlett. Arlett proposed that a "head of the river" race similar in tradition to races held in his native England, be held on the Charles River. "Head" races, a class of regattas, are generally three miles long-boats race against each other and the clock, starting sequentially approximately fifteen seconds apart. Winners of each race receive the honorary title of "Head of the River" or, in this case, "Head Of The Charles." http://www.hocr.org/ Go BC!
