  1. yawn.......trance, trance, trance........how boring what about tribal, progressive house. The room looks great, why kill it with ONLY trance!?? Sorry but music makes a venue.
  2. Any idea where Panghea is located? It's not in time out and I cant get any info from 411.
  3. I saw her at the garden, third row and center, during the begining of the tour. The guy she brought on stage there also left with a wet spot!! Pretty classic.
  4. You were checking on some venues for me. I guess progressive house is going to have to do. I can get down tempo and lounge up here. But check your pm.
  5. Or you can try the remix by Dave London "Blow My Mind" from Deejay Punk Roc. People can not stand still, no matter who they are, when that song goes off! The others are pretty generic..Sorry
  6. I just wanna myself!! I thought this was gonna be a weekly event!!! Im' gonna be down Fri the 22nd and this event wont be going off. ANY BREAKS AROUND then?? I'm in New York and cant get any here. Someone please help me I'm desperate:( (Sounds pretty pitiful lol)
  7. I was on cooljunkie.com and checked out the virtual tour of Pearl. How is this place and what's it all about. Is it worth checking out?? I'll be down the weekend of the 22nd.
  8. Another person agrees....New York night life sucks!!!!
  9. I was askin about breaks on this board about a year and a half ago and got SLAMMED for it. Mainly because I'm from Florida and NYers seem to have a thing for Fla breakbeats. I can tell you that I gave up going out around here because the energy in a club is no where near as slamming as that in a room with beats going off. Clubs here play tunes with the same shit playing over and over again. I'd rather stay home and listen to my bath tub drain!! I would be ecstatic to go to a venue that was full on break beats and garage. Oh and for everyone that has jumped on the cheese bandwagon about Icey has never heard the dude live, and scratching!! I guarantee in a room with him playing live you will not be able to stand still, unless ofcourse you cant dance!!
  10. I'm curious why there is so much hype on break beats all of the sudden. I posted about a year and a half ago about breaks on this board and got SLAMMED for it. Don't get me wrong I'm ecstatic that breaks may finally be taking off in NYC. Although I'll really believe it when Rick West or Rob E is spinning in NYC. Peace for now all of my fellow breaks heads!!
  11. New Yorkers are finally getting it. Mabe now I can actually enjoy myself when I go out. I have been waiting (I almost gave up!!) patiently for a breaks nite in NY. Count me in at any venue in the city I will be there. BTW have you guys heard about a breaks nite called 100% Wool?? Supposedly at a place called 24/8 or something like that. Let me know:D
  12. I was so happy to see this post!! I have been looking for sometime and have come up with random parties. I was in Orlando a couple of weeks and met Rick West. He said he was coming up in the fall, I will keep you all posted. Definately Steriotopia!!! We should have a Club NYC meetup. I'm VIPing it for the event hope to see some of you there!
  13. I was on Essential's website and saw DJ Icey is playing in Queens at a place called Amazura Ballroom. He is unbelievable live and I need to see that show. Any info will be helpful. Oh and no bashing please, I know I'm in tranceworld but I'm from breaks world. Thanks!!
  14. Campbells chicken noodle soup and a joint. Oh and a fresh brewed lipton iced tea. Works for me everytime!!!
  15. Dude, you just cracked me up!! Did you just smoke a joint?? Your thinking way too hard
