Mokaï wasn't anything before. New building on 23rd St. It's über-upscale, it isn't targeted towards the dwindling, unprofitable DJ-chasing market.

All good clubs stay open till 5 on Miami Beach. As per law, they can.

Mokaï is the place to see and be seen these days.

We don't pat down in Miami, our clubs still respect individual privacy.

Only place you'll have an issue is Pearl, and maybe Mansion depending on the night.

They usually set up a tent for the will-call lines about 20 feet across the street from the main entrance.

Most places will require prior permission for anything "pro". The official policies of venues is that all shooting is prohibited, but most don't care if you're just taking a photo of friends. It's when you start shooting at the DJ or performers that they'll speak up.

Depends on what you're into. But those are few and far between.

In general, most club-based events do not accept WMC badges as "comp" or reduced admission passes. The WMC passes are good for the WMC seminars and tech demos, if you're just a clubgoer out for a laugh, don't bother.

I doubt it was any site worthwhile if they didn't give you a card. I'd move on with things.
